Star-Dri 100 ® Maltodextrin is used in beverage mixes and sports, energy and nutritional drinks as well as baking mixes and frostings in both reduced and full calorie foods. This product is classified as "dextrose equivalent" or DE, which is a measure of the reducing sugars present calculated as dextrose and expressed as a percent of the total dry substance. Star-Dri 100 ® Maltodextrin can offer good solubility and an economical source of carbohydrates. Our maltodextrin is also ideal for maintaining viscosity and body as fat content is reduced.
